We are Mennonites. Very little is know really about us. I think because we are very private people not unsocial or unloving we live a little slower life and it is are faith to be so.
Biblical exhortation to simplicity.
2Cr 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
Being a christian is simple, not complex. That why many of us don,t watch TV or movies not becuase it is evil but because it tend to keep family from really talking, caring and loving one another and leave no or little time for prayer. and fellowship. As I said before we are a private people that has to do with the Lord`s command.
From 1Ti 2:2 Pray for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness.
And honestly people that are busybodies and talk to much seen to alway be in trouble or causing trouble.

Of course we believe in helping our neighbor and loving them that is where our monthly Mennonite Love Feast comes in, all are welcome.
Mennonites love eating and this is a good excuse to get together and to eat and to meat new people and fellowship.
If your new get ready for a warm greeting and some good talking and lot of laughter.
What is a Mennonite love feast it's not church their may be a little prayer and worship becasue Mennonite love to worship God and of course ask God blessing on the nights events and food but basically it to have fun, meat new people talk and laugh and don't forget eat.
Keeping with the Mennonite thought of simplicty here is a quick
doctrinal statement no blah blah blah
† We believe in God, the all powerful and eternal creator of the universe. We believe that God exists and reveals Himself in the persons of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, also called the Trinity.
† We believe that God sent His Son, Jesus, to this world to die so that men would not need to die in their sins. We believe that Jesus was both God and man incarnate. He was perfect, and without sin, and so was able to die for us.
† We believe that God wants all men to be saved, no matter what race or culture they are from, or how sinful a life they might have lived. He will reject no one who comes to him sincerely for help and deliverance. Along with this, we believe that it is our responsibility to help as many people as possible find salvation.
† We believe that the Bible is the message of God to man
† We believe that true Christians will live holy lives, and obey the commands of the New Testament. Otherwise they will fall away from, or forfeit salvation and become lost.
† We have learn by experience it is not possible to live sinless but holy. This is why us Mennonites love and cherishe the cross of Chirst so dearly for with out it we would be utterly be lost.
† We believe that Christians will want to take part in baptism and holy communion. However,we do not believe that we are saved by these practices. Rather, they are a testimony of the Christian’s inner state along with other practices taught by the New Testatment.
† We believe that God someday will judge everyone, and that we will spend eternity either in heaven or in hell fire. Only those who repent of their sins and seek salvation by following Christ will be able to go to heaven.
† We believe that baptism of the holy spirit and gift of the spirit are for today.
† Communion and baptism are part of a list of seven spiritual ceremonies which also include marriage, the Christian woman’s head covering exhorted only in prayer and if she is prophesying, the holy kiss, or hug, feet washing and anointing with oil.
